New York’s Staten Island. An NYPD detective is suspected of fabricating a police report and utilizing his access to NYPD information for illegal activities, in addition to being discovered in possession of over fifty weapons within his Prince’s Bay residence.
Anthony Sciortino, 35, of the 200 block of Ashland Avenue, was charged with 17 counts of criminal activities as an active police officer beginning in 2020. He was arraigned in state Supreme Court, St. George, on Wednesday.
