After putting the chaos of Cyber Monday and Black Friday behind them, hundreds of people spent a leisurely Saturday browsing for presents created by local artisans and enjoying food produced by local chefs at Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden’s Holiday Hopon Saturday.
City Councilwoman Kamillah Hanks, who has a unique bond with the cultural treasure, was among those present. The North Shore Democrat said her acceptance to LaGuardia High School was aided by her eight years of art lessons at Snug Harbor.
