Kia issues recall of hybrid and electric SUVs over airbag issues

New York’s Staten Island — A safety recall for a number of hybrid and electric car models has been issued by the Kia Corporation.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has announced that the business is recalling over 80,000 of its Niro subcompact SUV models because of wiring problems that may impact the front and side curtain airbags.
