Little League: Mid-Island LL hosting ‘Cookies & Cocoa with Santa Claus & Toy Drive’ on Saturday

Santa Claus is scheduled to visit Mid-Island Little League this Saturday before traveling to the city in a few weeks.

A Cookie & Cocoa with Santa Claus & Toy Drive is being held at the Mid-Island LL Women’s Auxiliary’s Travis facility from 10 a.m. to 12. Anyone interested is welcome to attend.

As officials from Mid-Island gather items and donations that will eventually help the Seamen’s Society for Children and Families, Santa is expected to impart some holiday cheer.

Those who are interested are asked to provide brand-new, unwrapped presents for kids ages one to seventeen. The league is requesting a $10 gift from everyone who is unable to donate a toy. Those who donate or take part in the toy drive will have the opportunity to pose for a photo with Santa.

The Seamen’s Society for Children and Families of Staten Island will receive all presents and cash contributions.

The address of Mid-Island Little League is 3665 Victory Boulevard, which is the corner of Travis Avenue.
