Man sought for questioning in connection with alleged thefts from electronics store on Staten Island

New York’s Staten Island. The NYPD is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a person who has been sought for interrogation in relation to suspected thefts from a New Springville store.

According to a statement from the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information, an unidentified person entered the Best Buy shop located at 2795 Richmond Ave. on January 10 at approximately 6 p.m.

According to the police statement, the man allegedly took out two laptops, hid them under his jacket, passed all points of sale, and then left the business on foot.

The NYPD gave the media pictures of a person who was wanted for interrogation in the case.
