New York’s Staten Island. Investigators were told by the mother of a 5-year-old girl who was reportedly raped on Staten Island last month that she witnessed the horrific crime and was then attacked by her daughter’s attacker while she attempted to call 911.
Dominique Giles, 30, of Madison Avenue in Manhattan, was charged with several first-degree rape counts and arraigned in Criminal Court in St. George on Wednesday. In addition to other allegations, he faces numerous counts of sex assault.
