N.Y. Lottery: NYC company claims $5M scratch-off prize as lump sum; 2 top prizes remaining

A $5 million prize from a scratch-off game in the New York Lottery has been claimed by a corporation based in New York City.

The winner of the top prize in the New York Lottery’s VIP Millions scratch-off game is the Ridgewood-based 920 VIP Limited Liability Company. The ticket was bought in Manhattan at Kim’s Newsstand, which is situated at 565 Fifth Ave.

According to officials, the LLC chose to receive a $3,061,200 one-time lump sum payment after the necessary withholdings.

Two $5 million top prizes are still up for grabs in this scratch-off game as of this writing.

By downloading the Game Report from nylottery.ny.gov, players can find out the current status of any scratch-off game in the New York Lottery.
