N.Y. Lottery: NYC player claims $1 million scratch-off prize as single lump sum; 8 top prizes remain

A $3 million win has been claimed by a New York City lottery player in a scratch-off game.

Brooklyn resident Brenda Jasson has won the top prize in the Millionaire Maker scratch-off game run by the New York Lottery. The ticket was bought at Brooklyn’s Brother’s Deli, which is situated at 669 E 98th St.

According to officials, Jasson chose to accept a one-time lump sum payment of $651,000 after the necessary withholdings.

There are currently eight top prizes left in this scratch-off game.

By downloading the Game Report from nylottery.ny.gov, players can find out the current status of any scratch-off game in the New York Lottery.

This game costs $20 per ticket. In order to play and win the prize displayed, you must match any of your numbers to any of the winning numbers.

$1 million is the highest prize. According to the New York Lottery, the odds of winning this top reward are 1 in 1.1 million.
