N.Y. Lottery: Player wins $33K with TAKE 5 jackpot prize

Recently, in the state of New York, a ticket worth almost $33,000 won the TAKE 5 jackpot.

One top-prize winning ticket, valued at $33,578.00, was sold for the Dec. 4 TAKE 5 evening drawing, according to the New York Lottery.

Hartsdale Fuel Corp., situated at 74 S Central Ave. in Hartsdale, New York, is where the ticket was sold.

The following are the winning numbers: 1, 7, 24, 26, and 37.

TAKE Five numbers are selected from a range of 1 to 39. The five numbers on your ticket must match the winning five-number combination selected in order to win the TAKE 5 jackpot. Each game costs $1 to play.

Twice a day at 10:30 and 2:30 p.m., the drawing is shown on television. To find out if they have the winning numbers for the respective midday or evening drawing, players who have both the midday and evening drawings on the same ticket must verify their numbers at nylottery.ny.gov.

There is a 1 in 575,757 chance of winning the TAKE 5 jackpot.
