N.Y. Lottery: Winner claims $1 million in scratch-off game as one-time lump sum; 1 top prize remains

A $1 million win has been claimed by a New York Lottery player in a scratch-off game.

Pelham resident Anthony Romano has won the Platinum Power scratch-off prize in the New York Lottery. Boston and West, 4394 Boston Post Road, Pelham, New York, is where the ticket was bought.

After the necessary withholdings, Romano chose to receive a one-time lump sum payout of $416,640, officials said.
