One ticket worth $29,444.50 was sold for the evening drawing on Sunday, January 5, according to the New York Lottery.
It was offered for sale at M&Z Express, which is situated in Rochester at 969 Bay St.
The numbers 11, 17, 29, 34, and 38 are the winning ones.
TAKE Five numbers are selected from a range of 1 to 39. The five numbers on your ticket must match the winning five-number combination selected in order to win the TAKE 5 jackpot. Each game costs $1 to play.
Twice a day at 10:30 and 2:30 p.m., the drawing is shown on television. To find out if they have the winning numbers for the respective midday or evening drawing, players who have both the midday and evening drawings on the same ticket must verify their numbers at nylottery.ny.gov.
