National burger chain closes all upstate New York restaurants after filing for bankruptcy

After declaring Chapter 11 bankruptcy, a nationwide burger business is closing its locations in Upstate New York.

According to News 10, BurgerFi will permanently close its facilities in Saratoga Springs and Latham on December 1. When BurgerFi International Inc. declared bankruptcy in September, franchise owners Bill, Michael, and Vincent Lia informed The Times Union that they decided not to extend their contracts because of corporate financial problems.
