New York TAKE 5 top prize ticket sold in NYC

New York’s Staten Island. One top-prize winning ticket for the Dec. 13 TAKE 5 evening drawing, valued at about $38,000, was sold, the New York Lottery said today.

The ticket was offered for sale at Manhattan’s Church Street Lucky One Stop, Inc. It is valued at $37,996.50.

TAKE Five numbers are selected from a range of 1 to 39. Twice a day, at 10:30 and 2:30 p.m., the drawing is shown on television. Any amount of money won in a lottery draw can be claimed within a year of the drawing date.

With $3.8 billion donated to New York State public schools in fiscal year 2023–2024, the New York Lottery remains the biggest and most lucrative lottery in North America.
