At 12:43 a.m. on Thursday, the National Weather Service issued a weather notice for Fulton, Montgomery, Schenectady, Saratoga, Albany, Rensselaer, and Columbia counties, warning of snow showers through 1:30 a.m.
“At 12:41 a.m., a band of heavy snow showers was along a line extending from Caroga Lake to Colonie to near Pittsfield and moving east at 20 MPH,” according to the National Weather Service.
Interstate 88 between exits 24 and 25 and Interstate 90 between exits 10 and 28 are included in this. Interstate 87 between exits 23 and 7 and close to exit 8A; Interstate 890 between exits 1a and 9. Interstate 787 from Exit 1 until Exit 9.
