NY weather: Special weather statement for Orange County Wednesday afternoon

On Wednesday at 1:08 p.m., the National Weather Service issued a special weather statement for Orange County that would last until 2:30 p.m.

“Until 2:30 p.m., rain showers—possibly accompanied by snow—will be sweeping across Orange County. The weather service warns of a sudden, moderate to heavy shower that could cause visibility to rapidly deteriorate and include gusts of up to 50 mph.
