NY weather: Special weather statement issued for Suffolk County until Friday evening

At 4:13 p.m. on Friday, the National Weather Service issued a special weather statement for Suffolk County that would last until 7:15 p.m.

Visibilities will occasionally be restricted to 1/4 mile or less in areas of heavy fog. When traveling, use low beams and make sure there is enough of space in front of you. The meteorological office said that rain that moves in later this evening could assist to improve the situation.
