The National Weather Service issued a revised wind advisory for Delaware and Sullivan counties on Thursday at 10:06 a.m., which is in force until 6 p.m.
“Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph,” weather service officials note. “The strongest winds will occur over the higher elevations.”
“Unsecured objects will be buffeted by gusty gusts. According to the weather service, there may be a few power outages and tree branches that are blown down. Strong winds like these can make driving challenging, particularly for well-known cars. Be especially careful.
