NY weather update: Oneida County under a lake effect snow warning until Wednesday morning

The National Weather Service issued an updated lake effect snow warning for Oneida County on Tuesday at 2:21 p.m., which will remain in force until Wednesday at 7 a.m.

“Heavy lake effect snow,” the weather service reports. In the strongest snow bands, there are extra snow accumulations of six to ten inches. less snow outside the strongest snow belt.
