After that, the winds will turn west and get stronger throughout the day, reaching their highest gusts on Thursday afternoon. Additionally, winds will cause snow to fly and drift where accumulations occur.
“Unsecured objects will be buffeted by gusty gusts. According to the weather service, there may be a few power outages and tree branches that are blown down. Strong winds like these can make driving challenging, particularly for well-known cars. Be especially careful.
