NY weather update: Winter weather advisory previously issued will expire at 4 a.m.

“This morning, there is a chance of a few light snow showers that will last until six in the morning, but the total quantity of snowfall will be less than half an inch. Untreated surfaces may become slick this morning due to overnight precipitation. The National Weather Service advises being especially cautious when traveling and going outside this morning.
