NY weather: Weather alert for snow in New York until Saturday midday

On Saturday at 8:52 a.m., the National Weather Service published a report predicting snowfall in Schenectady, Saratoga, Albany, Rensselaer, Greene, and Columbia counties through 11 a.m.

“Over the Capital District, Helderbergs, northern and central Taconics, and the upper mid Hudson Valley, a region of moderate to locally heavy snow has formed this morning. Snowfall will last until 11 a.m., after which it will subside. There will be anywhere from a dusting to an inch of snowfall overall. In the snow, visibility might drop to less than half a mile. Untreated surfaces have the potential to become slick. The weather service advises being cautious when driving this morning.

United Robots offers a service called Advance Local Weather Alerts that gathers the most recent information from the National Weather Service using machine learning.
