NY weather: Weather alert issued for freezing rain in New York until Monday evening

At 1:06 p.m. on Monday, the National Weather Service reported freezing rain in Fulton, Saratoga, Warren, and Washington counties through 7 p.m.

“Please be aware that showers arriving during today’s afternoon commute may contain pockets of freezing rain because temperatures are failing to reach far above freezing. Travel may get slick as a result. The weather service says that wintry mix, including freezing rain, is still likely, so allow extra time for travel late this afternoon through this evening.

United Robots offers a service called Advance Local Weather Alerts that gathers the most recent information from the National Weather Service using machine learning.
