In relation to a string of suspected arson occurrences in Brooklyn, the NYPD is requesting the public’s help in identifying a person who is wanted for interrogation.
Police received a report that an unknown person purposefully caused a fire near 100 Ralph Ave. on Friday, Dec. 6, at around 11:25 p.m. The person walked away from the scene to an unidentified destination. There have been no reported injuries.
The same person purposefully started another fire at 100 Ralph Ave. a few weeks later on Wednesday, Dec. 18, at around 1 a.m. According to officials, there were no reported injuries from this incident.
Police said that the unidentified person purposefully started a third fire near 100 Ralph Ave. on Wednesday, January 1, at around 1:25 a.m. The person walked away from the scene to an unidentified destination. No injuries were recorded.
The wanted person is described as a dark-skinned male who is 5’10” and weighs 190 pounds. He is between 25 and 30 years old. The Deputy Commissioner of Public Information for the NYPD said that he was last seen wearing a dark jacket, grey trousers, a grey hooded sweatshirt, and gray and white shoes.
