NYPD: Armed robbers stole $7,000 in lottery tickets across NYC

New York, N.Y. In conjunction with a citywide robbery pattern that has targeted NYC retailers in Manhattan and Queens and resulted in the seizure of approximately $7,000 worth of lottery tickets in just over two weeks, the NYPD is asking the public for help in identifying certain people who have been sought for questioning.

On December 26, according to the police, two unidentified people entered a business building in front of 46 8 Avenue and pretended to be carrying a gun. At around 8:30 p.m., the attackers took roughly $2,100 worth of lottery tickets by force and then fled on foot in an unidentified location. No injuries were recorded.

The aforementioned persons are wanted in relation to a pattern of robberies that took place in Manhattan-Queens between the months of December and January. DCPIDCPI

Authorities said the trio approached a business in front of 31-02 Broadway at 8 p.m. on January 8 and showed a gun. After removing roughly $4,800 worth of lottery tickets with force, the attackers fled into the Broadway station on foot. No injuries were recorded.

The persons in question are described as medium-skinned males.
