New York’s Staten Island. Nothing compares to New York City’s holiday season. What’s not to adore about the sparkling lights on every corner and the aroma of hot cocoa and sweets?
The traffic is undoubtedly something that locals could do without.
The famous tree lighting at Rockefeller Center on Wednesday will result in several road closures this week, even though there don’t seem to be any noteworthy events this weekend that will close major streets.
Plan ahead because the surrounding area is likely to have travel issues as a large number of city dwellers and tourists come to the joyful event.
The NYPD advice states that cops will decide whether to close the areas.
