As of Saturday morning, an NYPD official stated that the driver of the car was still at the site and that no one has been arrested in this case.

The inquiry is still under progress.

Living just across from the scene of the collision, Derek DeHorta expressed his astonishment that such an incident occurred on Amboy Road.

He claimed that since last week, this has been crazy. You can tell there has been a lot of traffic and issues in this street specifically since there have been people honking, yelling at one another, and wheels screeching. Therefore, I’m not surprised that something actually occurred.
