NYPD: Gun allegedly seized in Eltingville at mall on South Shore of Staten Island

New York’s Staten Island. According to an NYPD social media post, police allegedly seized a gun during a reaction at an Eltingville strip mall.

Patrol Borough Staten Island (PBSI) posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, that officers in the 122nd Precinct responded to a report of gunfire at Greenridge Plaza on Sunday near Richmond Avenue and Arthur Kill Road.

According to the post, many units reacted. A firearm was found and an arrest was made without any officers or members of the public being hurt.
