NYPD: Gun seized in response at strip mall on South Shore of Staten Island

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The NYPD said on social media that a gun was seized by police during an Eltingville strip mall reaction.

According to a post by Patrol Borough Staten Island on X, formerly known as Twitter, officers from the 122nd Precinct responded to an emergency complaint of gunfire in Greenridge Plaza on Sunday near Richmond Avenue and Arthur Kill Road.
