NYPD: Individual sought for questioning in connection to incident of grand larceny in Brooklyn

In order to identify a person wanted in relation to an alleged grand larceny event in Brooklyn, the NYPD is requesting the public’s help.

Police were notified that on Sunday, January 26, at around 9:40 a.m., an unidentified person approached a 26-year-old woman who was strolling at the intersection of Smith Street and 3rd Street.

The victim’s headphones were allegedly taken from her head by the unidentified person, who then reportedly ran inside the Carrol Street train station on foot. According to authorities, there were no reported injuries.

The wanted person’s surveillance photo was made public by the NYPD.
