NYPD: Individual wanted in connection to alleged forcible touching incident in Manhattan

In relation to an alleged instance of forceful touching that took place in Manhattan on New Year’s Day, the NYPD is requesting the public’s help in identifying a person who is wanted for interrogation.

At approximately 12:05 a.m. on Wednesday, January 1, a 25-year-old woman was approached inside 235 West 46th St. by an unidentified person who allegedly put their hand inside her underwear, touched her private area, and then left the scene on foot in an unidentified direction, according to the police report.

The address given by the police is the Paramount Hotel Times Square.

The Deputy Commissioner of Public Information for the NYPD said in a statement that the victim was not hurt during the event.
