NYPD: Man, 51, in critical condition after pedestrian crash on Staten Island

New York’s Staten Island. Police in West Brighton say a 51-year-old man is critically injured after being hit by a car during Monday morning rush hour while crossing the street.

According to initial information given to a spokeswoman for the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information, the pedestrian collision occurred shortly after 6:30 a.m. near Forest Avenue and Raymond Place.
