In order to identify a person wanted in relation to an alleged sexual abuse event that took place in Manhattan last month, the NYPD is requesting the public’s help.
Police were notified that on Monday, November 25, at around 7:30 p.m., a 14-year-old girl was near the intersection of East 55th Street and 2nd Avenue when an unidentified man approached her and asked for directions.
After allegedly kissing the girl on the lips, the person allegedly ran away on East 55 Street in a westbound direction. The NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information said that he was last spotted going into the subway station at Lexington Avenue and East 53rd Street.
According to authorities, the incident did not cause any injuries to the victim.
When last spotted, the person was dressed in blue trousers, black sneakers, a black jacket, a black T-shirt, and clear-framed spectacles. According to authorities, he is thought to be between the ages of 19 and 25 and has a light complexion and a medium build.
The wanted person’s surveillance photo was made public by the NYPD.
