NYPD: Pair sought in connection to alleged shooting of two men at Brooklyn subway station

In relation to an incident that took place in Brooklyn on Saturday, the NYPD is requesting the public’s help in identifying two people who are wanted for interrogation.

Police were notified that on December 21 at around 3:10 p.m., two unidentified people approached two male victims, ages 21 and 18, as they were getting off a northbound Q train inside the Avenue U subway station.

According to a statement made public by the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information, the group of people allegedly fired a gun several times, hitting the 18-year-old man in the right arm and torso and the 21-year-old man in the left leg.

According to authorities, EMS sent the 21-year-old victim to Maimonides Medical Center and the 18-year-old victim to NYU Langone Hospital Brooklyn. Both victims were in stable condition.

According to authorities, the unidentified people left the station on foot and went in an unclear direction.

The NYPD made surveillance photos of the people they were looking for public.
