NYPD seeks help identifying 2 men sought in connection to theft of AC units on Staten Island

New York’s Staten Island. In relation to a grand larceny investigation in New Springville, the NYPD is asking for the public’s help in identifying two men.

Police were informed that this occurrence occurred on December 28, 2024, at around 9 a.m., in the area of Monahan Avenue and Evans Street. According to the NYPD at the time, two unidentified people took two HVAC air conditioners out of the driveway of a female victim, age 24.

Police said the two unidentified individuals then took off in a white van heading north on Monahan.

This incident did not result in any reported injuries.

One of the individuals, according to the police, was last seen sporting black sneakers, black trousers, and a black sweater. According to the NYPD, the other male was spotted sporting black sweatpants, a black knit hat, black sneakers, and a red sweater.
