NYPD seeks info on suspects in citywide ATM robbery crew who stole from nearly 50 businesses

New York’s Staten Island. According to the Post, a gang of criminals has targeted 49 establishments in the New York City region over the course of three months, stealing thousands of dollars and ATMs in the process.

According to the complaint, between September 19 and December 26, the three criminals stole cars to use as escape vehicles prior to each crime in upper Manhattan, the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens.

Authorities told the publication that they stole additional items and stole money from ATMs inside the establishments before escaping in different cars.

Police informed the publication that $40,000 in cash was lost in two incidents in September.

According to the Post, two of the criminals were caught by video cameras on December 23 in Jackson Heights, Queens, at 1:20 a.m. taking wires out of an ATM inside a grocery shop.

The public is being asked by police for any information regarding the three suspects in the pattern of robberies that occurred throughout the city. There have been no arrests.
