New York’s Staten Island. In order to identify a person wanted in relation to the alleged robbery of multiple guitars in Brooklyn, the NYPD is asking the public for help.
According to a statement from the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information, the incident occurred on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at approximately 4:10 p.m. when a 29-year-old man was moving into his home near West 15th Street and 8th Avenue when an unidentified person passed by and took two guitars, which were worth about $3,000.
How many guitars were taken, as well as the brands and types of the instruments, were not disclosed in the police statement.
After that, the person left the area on foot, heading east on West 15th Street. According to police, no injuries were reported.
The wanted person’s surveillance photo was made public by the NYPD.
