NYPD: Suspect fatally stabs victim in neck during verbal dispute in NYC

According to authorities, a 24-year-old man died after being stabbed in the neck during an early Sunday morning verbal confrontation in North Corona, Queens.

Authorities say that at approximately 6:08 a.m., officers were called to a stabbing that had occurred close to the intersection of 102nd Street and 35th Avenue.

When police arrived, they discovered 24-year-old Byron Lema-Naula stabbed in the neck after arguing verbally with someone.

EMS took Lema-Naula to a nearby hospital, where he passed away.

The Deputy Commissioner of Public Information stated that no arrests have been made thus far and that the investigation is still ongoing.
