NYPD: Woman, 25, arrested in fatal stabbing of mother on Staten Island

New York’s Staten Island. According to police, a 25-year-old woman was taken into custody on Monday in relation to the stabbing death of Jennira Roundtree, a loving mother and grandmother, at the West Brighton Houses.

According to a spokesperson for the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information, Jasmin Thompson, of the 400 block of Richmond Terrace in New Brighton, is charged with second-degree murder.
