Officer wound up on hood of BMW in wild Staten Island chase; driver resolves case

New York’s Staten Island. A driver is going to prison after hurting multiple NYPD officers during a frantic pursuit over a year ago.

Last Friday, the state Supreme Court in St. George sentenced 40-year-old Ilir Cira of Rutherford, New Jersey, to 18 months in prison for the 2023 incident.
