Pedestrian, 2 cars struck late Saturday near busy Staten Island intersection in hit-and-run

New York’s Staten Island — A hit-and-run driver struck two vehicles and a person near Great Kills on Saturday night, leaving a trail of devastation, according to NYPD officials.

According to an NYPD spokesperson, the incident happened at approximately 11:30 p.m. close to Amboy Road and Nelson Avenue.

Near 3995 Amboy Road, a 2007 Ford Mustang carrying three individuals was struck by a 2021 white Acura sedan that was driving on Amboy Road.

Before hitting with a parked Honda CRV, the Acura’s driver turned into Locust Place and fled the scene down Nelson Avenue.

The Acura driver then made a U-turn and turned right onto Nelson Avenue once more as he ran away from the crash.

Near the intersection of Amboy Road and Nelson Avenue, the Acura’s driver attempted a right turn back onto Amboy Road and struck an 18-year-old lady, who was slightly hurt.

The woman reportedly declined on-scene medical treatment, according to the police.

No one inside the Mustang was hurt, the police stated.

The Acura’s driver then left the area. According to the NYPD spokeswoman, no one has been arrested and the investigation is still underway.
