Photos: NYC snow lets children enjoy sledding, while adults clean up from storm

New York’s Staten Island. The morning after Mother Nature dumped over three inches of snow on our borough, kids gathered their sleds and made their way to the slopes at LaTourette Golf Course, a custom that has been cherished by generations of Staten Islanders.

Even though Sunday’s storm left Island early on Monday, the borough is still suffering the effects of her wrath, with freezing temperatures predicted to keep us in the deep freeze for the next three days.

We appreciate all of the snowfall reports that were sent. Wind chill values will be in the teens due to a windy northwest breeze.tweet.com/qfPZMC7zCs
