Drones have been spotted flying over military locations in New York City, including Fort Hamilton in Brooklyn and Fort Wadsworth.
On Friday, Malliotakis demanded an official probe and a temporary ban on drone flights.
The FBI, which is spearheading the fact-finding effort to determine what these drones are doing, and other state agencies, including the NYPD, did not provide any updates on the inquiry over weekend, a Malliotakis office official confirmed on Monday.
Other political figures on Staten Island expressed their worries about the drones, whose enigmatic appearances have been perplexing citizens, politicians, and investigators alike.
