Members of Congress, small company owners, executives from Fortune 500 companies, and national trade associations make up the board.
It’s an honor to be elected to the board of directors of CHLI, where I can further my efforts to elevate the voices of the Hispanic community and push for sensible policies that safeguard our liberties and foster greater economic opportunity for everyone, said Malliotakis, a proud daughter of a Cuban refugee.
CHLI invests its time, expertise, and resources to guarantee that the diversity of perspectives within the Hispanic community is represented. According to the statement, CHLI strives to further its vision and objectives with this emphasis in mind by nominating and electing future leaders in their community.
The 2024 CHLI Leadership in Public Service Award went to Malliotakis. Her dedication to expanding possibilities for future leaders and her achievements to public service were acknowledged with this distinction.
The mother of Malliotakis immigrated to the US in 1959 after being born in Cuba.
