Road maintenance planned for Staten Island streets next week

New York’s Staten Island — The New York City Department of Transportation (DOT) is planned road work for numerous Staten Island routes next week to start the new year.

The repair, which is scheduled to take place from Monday, January 6 through Friday, January 10, may necessitate unexpected delays and street closures while workers fix some of the Island’s potholes.

According to the DOT, there is no scheduled milling or paving work.

Call the Staten Island DOT office at 212-839-2395 or the city’s central complaint hotline at 311 to file a complaint, report a pothole, or report any other roadway issue.
