Rosebank Merchants Association to hold Christmas winter festival Sunday

New York’s Staten Island. Everyone can now enjoy the annual Rosebank Winter Village. Everyone can enjoy the holidays and support local businesses during the winter festival.

The celebration will take place on Bay Street between Evelyn Place and Belair Road on Sunday, December 15, 2024, from 2 to 6 p.m.

On Wednesday, December 11, the Staten Island Economic Development Corporation (SIEDC) and the Rosebank Merchants Association, which is organizing the event with New York City Councilwoman Kamillah Hanks, expressed excitement at a news conference.

In order to keep locals engaged, the Rosebank Merchants Association organizes community events and works together to maintain the area on Staten Island. More than 300 kids attended the association’s first event, and organizers said they want this year’s festival to be just as thrilling.

In anticipation of the festival’s return for the holidays, light displays have been installed along the Rosebank commercial corridor to illuminate the route for the event.

According to the organizers, there will be a tree lighting ceremony, kid-friendly bouncy houses, a live DJ, face painting, and a chance to snap pictures with Santa Claus.

Local companies and Staten Island vendors will be there, along with freebies to entertain the kids.

“We are excited to collaborate with the Rosebank Merchants Association and Council Member Hanks once more to spread holiday cheer and to support the merchants who contribute to the prosperity of this community,” said SIEDC President & CEO Michael Cusick. Our neighborhood’s spirit is honored by the Winter Village and holiday lights, which also support the expansion of the commercial strip and include creative local sellers.
