New York’s Staten Island. According to evidence recently obtained by the Advance/SILive.com, state Parole Board commissioners have concluded that a quarter-century in prison is insufficient after revisiting the 1999 murder case of Leonard Wilson.
Wilson, a 51-year-old Stapleton resident, was put on an 18-month hold after being refused parole in July. According to a Department of Corrections and Community Supervision spokesman, he will make his next appearance in January 2026.
