Staten Island Ferry ridership has nearly doubled since 2020, new data shows

New York’s Staten Island — This previous year was significant for the Staten Island Ferry’s rebounding ridership, even though it was still only slightly below pre-pandemic levels.

According to newly released data from the Department of Transportation (DOT), ferry ridership has almost doubled since 2020, following a notable decline at the beginning of the pandemic.
