Staten Island HS boys’ hoops (4 games): TyRay Spencer pours in 30 to lead come-from-behind win in Curtis debut

On Sunday at Thomas Jefferson High School in Brooklyn, Curtis pulled off a Hersh Classic victory over WHEELS, scoring 14 of his game-high 30 points in the fourth quarter.

In his first season with the Warriors, Spencer, who played his first three varsity seasons at rival McKee/Staten Island Tech, made four three-pointers and was 8 for 8 from the free-throw line. He pulled down eight rebounds as well.
