For a huge group of high school football players from Staten Island, last weekend was all about great performances and high stakes.

Naturally, St. Peter’s and St. Joseph by the Sea faced off in Friday night’s CHSFL AA-1 championship game at Monsignor Farrell High School. The Vikings defeated the Eagles in a thrilling 8–7 victory.
