Staten Island HS hockey: Chaminade tops Farrell in CHSAA AA action (photos); Lions JV wins twice

In the CHSHL AA standings, second-place Chaminade and third-place Monsignor Farrell were separated by just one point going into Monday night’s game. However, the Flyers won 3-1 at the Staten Island Skating Pavilion in Charleston to increase their lead over the Lions.

Chaminade opened the scoring with two goals in the second period after the first was scoreless. With two minutes left in the third, Farrell rallied with a goal from in-form forward Jason Anzalone, but Chaminade scored an empty-netter to give the Flyers the victory.
